I doubled on pilates this week. Both times going to pilates republic but different locations. The first one was a lot harder and a lot smaller class. I enjoyed both though. The balance aspect is by far my favorite aspect of pilates and the change of pace. My current plan is when I’m in San Diego try different pilates locations to change up my workouts without paying the exorbitant fees. A single class is $45 when you aren’t doing the trial. The balance and targeting of one leg is extremely helpful. I always feel it in my left leg. The first class we did bridges which were very difficult and not something I was expecting to be so hard! The upper body work was in general pretty easy, especially all the planks that are done, an overrated exercise.
