Monday morning I had a fun start to my day. I woke up to no WiFi. I checked Xfinitiy and they said there was no outage. My neighbor said he had an issue but was able to fix his router. Restarting the router and modem didn’t do anything. I worked from my work phones hotspot for the majority of the day. This was also being stuck in a bunch of meetings as mentioned below. In between meetings I would try and get my WiFi working. It took me until 2pm before I finally figured out the issue. I had to pull out my old laptop, only one with an ethernet port. After direct connecting it to my modem and confirming I had internet there I connected it to my router. There I had to go into settings and copy the MAC Address from the modem which finally fixed the problem. Even that took two tries because I had to power the router on first then the modem for it to work!
